With the correct white spectrum and light planning, this product can increase growth by 2 times the normal rate, but will also be consumed by about 1.5-2 times. This product can be dosed by hand, but a metering pump is recommended, especially for SPS-dominant reef aquaria. A calibratable 4-head dosing pump is preferable. You can combine the KH1 and KH2 dosing base in one pump if your dosing pump only has 3 heads, but you will have to multiply the dosing by 2.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please consider these tips to improve pump performance and accurate dosing:<\/span><\/p>\n

The hose from the containers to the dosing pump heads should be the same length and the hose from the pumps to your aquarium should also be the same length. This will cause the pumps to have certain conditions and the calibration will be more constant between them.<\/span><\/p>\n
