Desert Bedding is a soil mix developed especially for desert and savannah type terraria. In nature only a few animals live on sand, most avoid sand. Therefore it is recommended to use more natural substrates.
The DESERT BEDDING recreates the soil of arid regions and has a high clay content, which allows animals to dig dens.
In the lower part of the substrate, moisture can be kept higher; this is important for many desert reptiles such as Uromasticae, which can store moisture on their skin.

In addition to the classic earthy brown and inland red colours that copy the red patterns of Australia, there are two new colours: almost snow-white and golden yellow.
